From Kyoto, this is one of our four-seasons incenses that actually has two different smells. As it burns the scent will change from a soft scent reminding you of a fresh water spring, to a distinct iris blossom aroma. Or, light the other end for the opposite effect. This changing character is achieved by carefully soaking half the incense by hand, instead of the typical kneading in of incense oils.
